I'm not using install scripts either and finding those rootstraps isn't the only problem. It would be nice if those rootstraps would contain proper set of packages so that you don't have to do any dummy package hacks after creating a new target. Though I don't know if chinook has this problem which we have with 3.x rootstraps. I haven't been testing sb2, but I can easily see some problems coming from those missing dependencies.
