Even better would be to provide the standard xdg-utils package:
http://portland.freedesktop.org/wiki/
The binary could be named as hildon-open, but it should be at least
symlinked to xdg-open, and the package containing this should state
that it "Provides" xdg-utils.
Could you make a bug about this and put me on CC?
