It seems that when recording from the mic input using gstreamer and the wav encoding yields very quiet recordings. When I switch to iLBC, record volume is much higher.
This was using my own python + gstreamer code, but I can confirm the same issue using maemo-recorder. Device is N800 with OS2008. Anyone confirm or know what's going on? -- Mark L.
