Hello All, While we're on the subject of dbus, desktop files and bugs you might also want to look at- https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3125
The upshot is that maemo doesn't handle extra whitespace in the desktop file well. If after creating your desktop file, your app crashes, check for spaces tabs and extra carriage returns in your desktop file first. There might not be anything wrong with your application...
