Hello, I'm writing an app for my N800 and I want it to create and export a DBUS method that other applications can invoke.
I'm reading through the maemo tutorials and it seems to me that while libosso makes invoking a DBUS method fairly easy it doesn't help much with the actual building of the method. I gather that the preferred way to build the DBUS method is using the GLIB/GOBJECT machinery (the xml file and all that extra code that has to go into my application). I'm fairly new to the maemo environment and I'd like to confirm whether the above appreciation is correct or not. If it is not, I'd appreciate any pointers on how libosso can help me build a DBUS method.
