I'm less interested in enabling variants than shipping a distribution that lets users configure things how they want. The process to get to that point is going to open doors to other variants, but it's not my primary goal. More variants mean more fragmentation, which isn't a necessarily a desirable outcome. I'd rather have a flexible community edition that allows users to easily change their desktop environment if they wish, rather than focusing on putting together a process for someone to ship a "Kaemo". This is only my own opinion (and not a particularly strong one at that), though, and I may not be seeing the whole picture. Feel free to convince me otherwise. -- Ryan Abel Maemo Community Council chair _______________________________________________ maemo-developers mailing list maemo-developers@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
