It looks a lot like this Chinese device is really maemo-based: http://www.woojoy.com.cn/ There have been lengthy reviews of this device on pconline.com.cn and you can look them up on www.internettablettalk.org. The screenshots there clearly show that the device comes with maemo-applications. The device is not available yet, but looks very promising.
