Hi,
Thanks a lot .Now I am getting complete xephyr window after updating qt
packages for fremantle. But I am facing some new problems.

When I am running any qt gui applications on maemo, the xephyr window is crahing
to the default black window while clicking on some particular button on my
application.I have found that my application is still running. But I am getting
the default startng black window on xephyr.I am getting the following error in
the terminal.

hildon-desktop[3781]: GLIB WARNING ** default - hd_transition_play_sound:
Canberra sound disabled for speed reasons, /usr/share/sounds/ui-window_close.wav
hildon-desktop[3781]: GLIB WARNING ** default -
hd_comp_mgr_setup_input_viewport: X errors

On the host terminal, where I am running xephyr server ,I am getting the
following error (not sure this is error or not) from the beginning .

unrecognised device identifier!
(EE) config/hal: NewInputDeviceRequest failed

Example:Suppose I am running some RSSfeed Reader applications of qt.
At First, everything seems to be ok.I am getting the desired output on xephyr
window.I click on some button.A new window appears properly. At that time if I
click on "back" button to go back to the previous window. It crashes. This
application was running properly in maemo-diablo-4.1.2.

REPRODUCIBILITY:always

OTHER COMMENTS:I have installed scratchbox on Linux Fedora 10(32 bit) which is
installed on "sun virtual box".I have assigned 800 MB RAM for virtual
Machine(Fedora 10).And host OS is Windows Vista.

Hi,
Qt packages are in the fremantle extras-devel repos. Qt for Fremantle is
different from Qt for Diablo.
You are a very very lucky man if you are able to don't crash the hildon-desktop
all the time with Diablo Qt in Fremantle.

Maemo applications don't have menubars. Instead of them, we have a popup that
is shown when you click
the titlebar. Diablo Qt can't grab the click on the freemantle title bar.

Please update your libs.

Antonio

Hi,
I have installed maemo-fremantle sdk and qt packages from diablo extras as
no qt package is available in frementle.I am getting only the output screen on
running qt application without the sidebar or menubar.I am not getting any
default screen on running af-sb-init.sh start. After running an application, I
am getting the gui output on xephyr window. So, If i run two qt applications
simultaneously,it is overlapping on xephyr window as the toggle button is not
avaible. How to get the complete window with menubar on xephyr server?
