Hello all, This is a first report for "Remember The Milk plugin for Canola" GSoC 09 project.
In previous two weeks I was studying Canola source code and started with creating a simple skeleton of a plugin. I talked with my mentor and we decided to move forward iteratively: at first create an app which just works with network connection and shows tasks using standard ui elements. Then add local tasks storing functionality, syncronization and new ui elements. After two weeks of work we already have a plugin which allows to browse tasks for today and tomorrow, browse lists and tasks inside lists and search for tasks. I recorded a small video[1] (~30 sec) which shows how it works. Source code available at code.openbossa.org[2], installation instructions available on a wiki page[3]. Plan for the next week: * improve current plugin - add ability to view task properties and create new tasks, so we will have something a bit usable already * start implementing local tasks storing functionality Regards, Andrey [1] - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_GQZw4qN_I [2] - http://code.openbossa.org/projects/canola-rtm [3] - http://wiki.maemo.org/GSoC_2009/Projects/Remember_The_Milk_plugin_for_Canola _______________________________________________ maemo-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
