And Ovi SDK apps are based on W3C Widgets, from what I've just seen in the developer experience area at Nokia World. There's a talk at 14:45 CET about using it for cross-platform development, and Maemo *was* mentioned in the introduction (although I've not seen any evidence of this being anything but aspirational at the moment).
