Hi, I guess you are right. It seems that you have problems with the Internet connection inside the scratchbox. So two questions:
1) Does in general the Internet connection work inside the virtual machine? 2) If yes the configuration of the resolv.conf inside the scratchbox might be wrong. You could check this [1].
