There is another issue with the screenshot at startup. Rotation.
It gets kinda confused and doesn't look great at all when you app starts in portrait mode and the screenshot was taken when in landscape. >From what I have seen it tries to be smart, but somehow fails. In my last Xournal package (where I fully support rotation), I had to remove the screenshot creation. If someone is interested in seeing how it behaves I can post a .deb version with screenshot enabled.
