Such as right now. Surprise surprise. (I'm not 100% sure it's akamai that is down as I don't have full details, but it seems something like that is going on.) So my one mirror that I set up is getting pegged at 100Mbit full on right now since I noted it a few times in passing in talk.maemo.org threads. Now, if someone with official standing at maemo (e.g. a webmaster) would have emailed a few of the well-known free software mirrors (e.g. ibiblio, mirrors.kernel.org, UK mirror service), we'd have a few very well provisioned mirrors to fall back on. Can someone with "authority" within maemo.org make these requests? It really is as simple as a few emails. Send out 10 emails, get 10 mirrors. If you want me to build up a list, I will. For the interim, you can use my mirror (it's serving up fine). Details here: http://espejo.freemoe.org/ -Jeff http://wiki.maemo.org/User:Jebba P.S. Resending message that *BOUNCED*. I honestly can't recall bouncing email to a mailing list in a decade. _______________________________________________ maemo-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
