You will get working TCP/IP network between your device and PC (with BT or USB or ad-hoc Wlan) automatically and with that you can do anything you like :). If your target is to synchronize with Nokia PC Suite I think that also works and does not require PC Connectivity for device and PC (but requires PC Suite and thus works only on Windows :).
