Thanks for the suggestion. dbus-monitor doesn't show any activity from the qdbusxml2cpp script. I don't think the script does anything on dbus. It's there to create CPP code from an xml file. As I understand it, the qdbusxml2cpp is refusing to run as it considers the interface name invalid because it contains hyphens.
