Hello, I would like to link libfreetype statically in the navit package. Navit uses the autoconf build system. For details see http://wiki.maemo.org/Navit
Can anybody tell, what is the right way in a debian/rules file to statically link libfreetype (debian/rules for navit is attached) which is compiled into a custom directory /opt/selfcompiled/libfreetype-2.3.11 ?
