Nicolas, thanks for the pointer to your blog and the wikipedia article about the Newton which is a great article. I had forgotten most of the interesting history of that product. Apple is a great company, and like all such companies, sometimes they get everything lined up correctly for product innovation and, once in a while, they blow it.
