Hi, you're right, I think you should set LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
after a check, I found on http://maemo.org/maemowiki/InstallVPNC that the proper way to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable was to do : # echo /var/lib/install/usr/lib >> /etc/ld.so.conf # ldconfig (and also that I did not include the maemo-users mailing list in the response mail I sent to you (which does not explain it the good way)).
