Isn't there a kernel patch somewhere on the net that patches the new
2006 OS to work with 2gb cards? I definitely read that somewhere.
If I find it I'll be sure to post it.

This has been discussed many times. If I am not mistaken, the highest
capacity for the Nokia 770 is 1GB.
