I'm at a ramada hotel typing this email into Internet Explorer because for

screen.

That is the problem of lousy web developers codibg browser-specific
websites. If they just make the website work with IE and nothing else.
You wont be able to get there neither on your n800 or your PocketPC or
whatever device that doesnt have that browser.

If I was you I will complian with the administration.

Should I expect this to happen at many hotspots ? How do these things work
anyaway, they seem to hijack your attempt to fetch a home page and redirect
you to a terms-and-conditions acceptance page. The access is free, but you
have to click 'accept' to continue.

Only the one that have stupid web developers. I hope not that many, at
least the Starbucks, T-Mobile and At&t are safe.

Is there something different I should be doing to make this work - there was
nothing I needed to do differently in my laptop.

Well u can check if javascript is enable if it is but it doesnt work,
I will go to the laptop see the URL displayed on the IE browser and
type it manually on the n800 then I will bookmark it for future tries.
