I'd still like to be able to read articles when offline, but the
seamless way Reader Mini works with Google reader may just have me
convinced. Now, the only thing that may be better would be a
terminal-based, SLRN-style RSS reader that caches the articles for later
reading. I'm not sure one of those exists, though ;)

That would be nice, and probably quite doable, using slrn as the
client. Unfortunately given that most websites don't publish the full
article in the RSS feed, it might not work out too well. This is the
annoying thing I find with RSS, having to click on links and browse to
the website to read the full article. I wouldn't even mind if they
included advertisements in the RSS feed !
