Maemo does not use SELinux. Maemo, as I understand it, is targeted at
single user devices where the fine grained control that SELinux offers
is not needed.
SELinux would protect single user system as well, since it
differentiates
privileges based on the *programs* being run. But SELinux has a reputation
of being cumbersome to use and there are many other issues one would
probably
want to nail down first before dealing with it.
