You have to use a HW KB - like a BT KB, or you can use the windows
on-screen KB located under, start>all
programs>accessories>accessibility

I made a short-cut to it on my desktop for when I don't have my BT KB handy.

Hi,

I gave rdesktop a try this weekend and I could not figure out how to get the
touch screen keyboard to appear so I could type. Is there just no on screen
keyboard support or did I miss something or is this a planned future
addition? Thank you.
