1. Launch "Settings". 2. Tap "Profiles". 3. Drag-scroll to "E-mail alert". 4. Drag the "E-mail alert" volume slider to the far right to give it maximum volume. 5. Tap the "E-mail alert" button. 6. In the new "E-mail alert" window that appears: select the Nokia-provided sound you find most attention getting -or- choose to browse for a more attention getting sound file you've added to your phone
