Well, here it is finally, with the confusing name of N9-00 (not to be confused with N900), but it's a big disappointment if you ask me: http://conversations.nokia.com/2011/06/21/introducing-the-nokia-n9-all-it-takes-is-a-swipe/ Other than the 1GB of RAM, I find the hardware to be extremely boring and lacking any interesting (or even basic) features.
