Sorry, I forgot. Mageia will be a fork ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fork_(software_development) )of Mandriva. Not a whole new distro from scratch. So, Mandriva uses RPM and urpmi. Then, Mageia will use RPM and urpmi. Cheers!
