-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hello,
I updated my system and it installed the latest kernel (2.6.38.8-desktop). When I rebooted the system it hung when starting udev. I shut down the system after 1 minute. When I booted into kernel 2.6.38.7-desktop, udev started in less than 10 seconds. Also, neither kernel/udev created the /dev/dvd or /dev/sr0 symlinks. When I created the /dev/dvd symlink I had to change the permission of the original device to 0x666 from 0x660 so that the software could play the DVD. Is anyone else having this problem?
