In today's cauldron, a fresh install loops in the bootloader stage
because something has suddenly decided that it knows when stuff is
taking too long.
VC3 shows "ERROR: killing runaway process
(process=mkinitrd.....error=ALARM at /usr/lib/libDrakx/run_program.pm
line 92"
In the GUI, you get a graphical prompt saying that an error occurred and
mkinitrd failed, and if you click OK (the only choice), it goes and
tries the mkinitrd again, fails again, .....
So, basically, the install stops there, as you can't get to Summary.
