Did you happen to update to dracut-016 before regenerating a working initrd? I'm wondering if some patch magically fixed the issue (or even the patch I put in late on the 015 series to fix a seemingly unrelated bug). FWIW, others are seeing this still: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4541 (again, I'm quietly hoping the updated version will fix it, but time will tell).
