Yeah I agree here. That's why I originally suggested keeping some TTY for text use (tho' I do still think the primary focus on a graphical setup should be for graphical login hence why tty1-8 (ish) should be IMO reserved for graphical logins, with text only on 9+ or similar. I think that's a good compromise, even if it's not what the greybeards expect (I do still consider myself to be a greybeard in some ways too here! Not obvious for novice users, but something power users could find.
