Just some compile and linking fixes and a couple other minor things.

Upstream Changelog:
Changes since version 0.11.3b
      - Include build fixes from Orcan Ogetbil
      - Set codec to utf8 when reading our own lists
      - Fix initial video sizes with SMIL+video

Confirmed that it builds, installs, and works locally.
