other automatic dependencies handlers.

If find this slighty more readable:
     return if $file !~ m!/lib/systemd/system/\S+\.service$!;

Also you're explicitly ignoring files with spaces which is not illegal per se,
so this would be better:
     return if $file !~ m!/lib/systemd/system/.+\.service$!;
As a filename, probably not. As a systemd service name, I have no clue. But yes, it's safer.
