[Mageia-dev] Python package

Hi there,

I commited an update to the python package today to resolve 
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5843
Since python is a rather central and big package I'd like someone to 
have a look at it before I submit it to Cauldron and before I commit the 
fixes to the Mga1 and Mga2 packages.
