At reboot, the screen was corrupted in kdm. Switching to a vt and urpmi --auto-up and restarting dm fixed it. Everything else seems ok (my setup is quite standard, without any fancy stuff). I see the pop-up: The password you typed is invalid in KDE though, but I don't know where it comes from. Cheers, -- Malo
