There are lots of good reasons to switch to OBS - OBS has a web interface ( lots of ppl including me do lot of the spec file editing, patching etc. using the web interface from windows e.g from work PC / mobile platforms) - In OBS it's very easy to fix a package for everyone, if you have an account at the OBS server, just branch it, fix it, submit it (and wait for approval) - Package that are on build.opensuse.org can be linked to, inter instance linking, copying, aggregating (with enough user permission) is no problem - OBS is already used by more than 33,327 confirmed developers. - Mandriva is also considering it. - You would do something for inter-distro collaboration (and well we can discuss this, OBS is the most advanced build system)
