rpm-4.11 beta1 has been pushed to updates_release.
It's ABI compatible with rpm-4.10.
The API has just lost a couple unused defines.
I've recompiled everything anyway just to be sure (but ocaml-dose3
doesn't compile b/c of ocaml changes).
Stable release will be out in January.
It works fine. All test suites pass. Please test.
I plan to:
- move it to core/release,
- enable -debuginfo packages in rpmlint
- switch from -debug to -debuginfo like other distro
and drop lot of patches
Does it fully support our rpmlib usrmove checks ?
I know you dropped our patch as "merged" but we got
atleast one report yesterday on irc about failing
to create a iurt chroot on a cauldron host running
rpm-4.11 from testing...
