I tried fixing the build properly, but the linking stage didn't work
even after a few build order tweaks.
In the end I gave up (tho' kept my modified patch for reference) and
just used _disable_ld_no_undefined.
I had to tweak the library majors etc. Not sure if anything depends on
the old majors or not thhan
Thanks a lot I started working on it and added some patches but there
was some work left. just wanted to have it updated for Mageia3 before
freeze date as these components are quite sensitive depending on the
version.
As I didn't do the upgrade, Anne should likely ACK it.
