I finally figured out an easy way to make Wi-Fi working nicely on Laptops with
different Broadcomm
chips tested that do not work using the wl driver provided in none-free:
BCM4311, BCM4318 (airforce-one)
Install your system, but disable none-free medium (to prevent the installation
of the wl driver)
after re-booting and logging in the first time, shut down the box.
Insert the live-DVD of same architecture
boot the system using the live DVD. Check if your Wi-Fi works.

Check as root which driver is loaded: lsmod
If you find the b43 and brcm, copy the folders /lib/firmware/b43 and
/lib/firmware/brcm from the live-
DVD to your hard drive

Add line "alias wlan0 b43 to /etc/modprobe.d/01_mga-config.conf

If you reboot, you should now be able to turn on the Wi-Fi light (and to
connect.)

You now also need to reconfigure the shorewall, otherwise you cannot transmit
any date.
Add the lien to your /etc/shorewall/interfaces:

net wlan0 detect

Just below the already existing line
net eth0 detect
