Well, going to deb would requires rewrite all specs files, and most of the installer. Not to mention that this would requires to change buildsystem, and requires lots of formation of packagers, and rewite all the documentation and the policy. So, while there is nothing wrong with .deb, this is "no". -- Michael Scherer
