I saw a similar bug in cooker sometimes, but since no one else seemed able to reproduce it, I assumed it was just some weirdness on my box.... The bug I saw was when anything used phonon for sound (the login sound, amarok... etc) kded4 crashed. FWIW pulseaudio is disabled here and this bug doesn't seem to happen with PA enabled; how is it at your end? -- Ahmad Samir
