From strictly a users point of view the program I use is Linux. I have
been a Mandrake/Mandriva Linux user for 9 years. When asked what program
I use I say "Linux". I have no idea what GNU is or does and I don't
really care. I also believe the general public is more familiar with the
name Linux than any other. The goal of Mageia should be to gain
acceptance as the best "Linux" distribution for the general public and
not confuse them with technical terms.
