I don't really understand the problems: In Germany almost all mirrors are hosted by the Universities. Since alpha1 I asked two of those, that host mirrors for a number of distros, if they could mirror Mageia as well. Both of them agreed without any problems (Erlangen and Esslingen with 1 and 2 GBit/s bandwidth). Nobody told me anything about former problems with Mandriva. They just did it.
I don't know about the rest of the world, but if you know any institution mirroring other distros it doesn't hurt to just ask, does it? Oliver
