I never do an upgrade. I always install a fresh copy with out erase /home
partition. That why I never seen this.
Same here.
But testing a system upgrade from mandriva to Mageia was an important
part of the testing task for RC1.

I made 3 updates from Mandriva 2010.2. I didn't see any problem for two
of them, but for the third one, the menu has two bugs. Menu ->
Documentation opens the Mandriva user manual, and in Menu -> bookmarks,
we can read "Mandriva DrakConf". May be that is OK since it was the last
command used under Mandriva.
