I figured out the taskbar problem. Gimp with Iscan adds a new window
with each scan. Also at times when I use scale image it adds a new
window. Eventually there is no room for the lettering. Never had that
problem with ML2020.2. Today with gimp open the computer partially
shutdown again and froze. I was changing my font size in Firefox at the
time. I had to reboot.
gFTP hangs up at times when I am adding a file to my website. I have to
close it and reopen. That happened about 4 times today.
I like mageia. However the small things get frustrating. Especially the
unexpected shutdown. Unless I constantly save Gimp images as I work, I
can lose an hour or two worth of work.
