Cheers,

Ron.
You mean kfind? It turned invisible ;)
Don't know for konqueror, but in Dolphin you can
still Ctrl+F to search. But if you really mean kfind, you need to
whip up some servicemenu, like Ahmad did.
Can't seem to find his mail in the archives, so citing the whole mail here:

Does this happen to you too ?
I can find this on kde's bugzilla :https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125864

Thanks,
is realy a pity. The KDE without a search tool . I would prefere kfind
instead of nepomuk.

With Dolphin kfind isn't loaded with Ctrl+F any more, instead a
built-in search kio module is loaded, kio_filenamesearch. As I prefer
kfind I've been using the attached .desktop file. Put it in
~/.kde4/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/ . After that right clicking
any folder (or inside any folder) you'll find a "Find Here" option to
launch kfind.

I've also attached Ahmad's servicemenu desktop file. Cheers!
