We are mainly interested in cases where hplip is currently
working, to ensure this update doesn't create any new problems.
Hplip works however it does not recognize the printer set up in MCC. I
have to reinstall the printer when I use hplip device manager. This
gives me 2 ppd's.

Yes, I normally set up printer queues via the browser interface and I
found that my Deskjet for instance was not recognized by hp-toolbox so
had to login as root and use hp-setup and find the printer manually; by
specifying the USB bus:device address, and then giving the printer a
different name from that used in CUPS. lpstat -a shows two queues for
the same printer.
