[Mageia-discuss] KDE compatibility issue

I have always run KDE Cauldron and mga1 with a common /home without any 
problems, however since the introduction of 4.7.3 in Cauldron it is 
impossible to boot into a KDE mga1 graphical desktop using the same 
account.
~/.kde4 is "upgraded" on running Cauldron.

I guess that back compatibility is probably not a KDE priority.
Has anyone else managed to find a workaround for this, or got any 
suggestions? (other than installing task-gnome in mga1 !)
