For the record, I modified /etc/pulse/default.pa to avoid automatic detection of devices and added these lines load-module module-alsa-sink device=hw:1 rate=96000 control=Master load-module module-alsa-source device=hw:1 rate=96000 control=Capture "rate=96000" is needed to avoid crackling sound on the microphone, I'm not sure it's needed for the sink but it seems to work. Most probably suboptimal but it works (survived 2 reboots). I'll worry later about hdmi audio. Wasn't pulseaudio supposed to make things easier? Bye -- Luca
