Dear Mageia.org association member, ( while this email is in no way secret or anything and was sent on public lists, please keep in mind that's a formal convocation aimed at the association members. Everybody is free to come in of course, but we send it mainly due to legal administrative obligations )
Like last year, our general assembly will take place in Bruxelles the 4th of February, during the FOSDEM[0] in Université Libre de Bruxelles, on the Solboch campus. The exact room and time is not yet decided, but should be in the afternoon and in one of the 2 rooms proposed by FOSDEM for such events[1], so people wishing to attend it will need to take contact with the association on the booth in the K building to get the exact location and date once we will know. The following point will be discussed during the meeting : - moral and financial report, by the president - new members admission for the association - organisation and renewal of Board members Summary will be posted on the website for people who could not attend. You can also send questions for the general assembly by mail, and we will do our best to answer it, even if we would prefer to have them posted right away on mailing list ( since we will have a limited timeslot for the meeting in Bruxelles ). We do not plan to vote during the assembly but rather do it afterward using the same system as last year[2]. So while you can give representation power to someone else by just warning us, you should be able to vote even if not present physically at assembly.
