I just installed Beta 3 - very smooth install, boot time has
substantially shortened, great.
But, after the install I do urpmi <list of additional packages>, and
there is a big snare: all packages are fetched from the remote mirror,
even if they exist on the install DVD. As a consequence, loading
packages after install becomes very tedious and long (for instance if I
post-load packages like texlive-texmf of libreoffice).
I verifified in /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg: the "cdrom:.." medium is well
defined (and does not have an "ignore" statement).
To create a demo that can be easily reproduced, I did urpme xmag : the
package is fetched from the mirror, although a package with the same
version exists on the install DVD.
Did I commit some stupid error? - does this problem arrive elsewhere?
